Textile Art: The Sacred Mandala patterning is an Eco-print on linen with additional embellishment in slow stitch.
The Mandala tells a story of wholeness in the universe and the self, and of the impermanence of the ten thousand things.
Eco-print on paper. Photo shows Echoes of the Forest (Detail). It evokes the preciousness of trees through direct imprint, and their endangerment through man’s carelessness..
Eco-printing is an eco friendly sustainable art form that brings me in direct contact with nature and my landscape.
Eco-Print: I love to gather leaves to boil and steam for eco-prints, especially on silk and linen. These textural scrolls are a fun way to test colours and mordants and become interesting art collectables.
Graphic: The Look of Kells is a contemporary take on Medieval imagery form the High Crosses and the Book of Kells. The quirky characters appear on coasters, mugs, tote bags and wall art. Available @eurekahouse. Ceramic coasters are currently available in my eshop.
Collage: Blue Rhapsody comes together using recycled papers, prints and organic material.
Screen Print: Screen printing on linen is one of my favourite things to do. These lampshades and complementary table runner were part of my Signature Collection.
